More industrial art

At the local bike swap meet in Tsawwassen, the unofficial start to the riding season on the lower mainland in BC, a lovely example  of an early HD. Think its time to build a Shovlehead. 

One of the projects on the go. It will involve an English wheel,  shrinker and Dolly.

¨El Burro Azul¨the finished result. Paint and lettering by JEK again. A blast to ride, though the clutch (centrifugal) is a bit of a learning curve.   

The humble 70cc motor, transporter of millions and simple as folding a paper airplane. A great platform for  learning the basics of engine repair 

The next Project was a $28.00 83 Honda C70 Passport. Too cheap to pass up, I decided to do it up in the style found in the far east, smooth lines, 70 spoke rims. Tailight is from a Zundap, signals from a Harley-Davidson

The Beezer joins another BSA and Norton  at the annual British day held in Victoria BC every Fathers Day     

    1970 BSA A65 Lightning, last year of the classic style. A 3 year rebuild, soup to nuts. 3 years of trials and 3 years of learning, but when rolling down the  road, well worth it. Paint by JEK, photos by Tiffany B.
